Introduction - Overview
Course Description

Congenital anomalies are one of the leading causes of fetal pathology during pregnancy, affecting between 7% and 10% of all fetuses. Early detection of these anomalies is a key goal of prenatal care, requiring specialized knowledge across various disciplines, with a particular focus on imaging diagnostics through ultrasound.
This course is designed to train you and equip you with the necessary skills to diagnose fetal congenital anomalies using ultrasound. You will learn to interpret recognition patterns and biomarkers of fetal systems, following the guidelines of POCUS in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (Point of Care Ultrasound in Maternal-Fetal Medicine), developed by FIMMF.
Additionally, we offer a unique hands-on approach: through simulation and practical sessions, you will gain experience in identifying 100 different congenital anomalies. This course is one-of-a-kind worldwide, created by Dr. Mauricio Herrera and endorsed by the International Foundation of Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
I look forward to seeing you soon on our online platform, The Fetal Medicine LAB, as we explore this exciting field of maternal-fetal medicine together.
