We are excited to invite you to the 2nd Fundamentals and Updates in Fetal Medicine conference. This course, in collaboration with the Fetal Medicine Foundation USA, is designed to cover  high yield subjects in the field of Maternal Fetal Medicine with the goal of improving your knowledge and provide practical clinical tools. We selected expert international speakers to cover clinical themes with the highest and most updated academic and scientific practices in mind.

 

The hybrid modality and interactive sessions will facilitate immersive educational experience for both onsite and remote participants.

1. The First Trimester: Screening and testing for aneuploidy, birth defects and preeclampsia.

  • Physician, sonographers, and nurses will apply risk assessment for pre-eclampsia, as well as assessment for aneuploidy and fetal malformations in the first trimester.

  • Diagnose, counsel, and manage fetal malformations.

  • Utilize neurosonography in the assessment of the fetal brain throughout gestation.

  • Review updates in detection and management of placental abnormalities such as cesarean scar pregnancy, placenta accreta spectrum disorders and vasa previa.

  • Apply standardized assessment of the fetal heart to facilitate the detection of congenital cardiac anomalies and improve the diagnostic process and patient counseling.

  • Provide updated review of high yield subjects in prenatal diagnosis, maternal and fetal medicine targeted to expand current knowledge and improve patient care.
